Our agency offers realistic alternatives to inappropriate behaviors
caused by psychological and environmental factors.
Intensive In-Home
Guiding Young Girls is a gender specific "all girls" Intensive in-home program. Our therapeutic intervention is intended to stabilize the child, increase parental capacity, and promote reunification or prevent the utilization of out-of-home placements (i.e., psychiatric hospital, therapeutic foster care, and residential treatment facility). Interventions are delivered primarily in the family's home, community or specific problematic area(s).

The focus of this time-limited intervention:
• Defuse the current crisis and/or resolve ongoing stressful issues.
• Provide intensive case management to link the family to other needed community services;
• Provide individual, couples and/or family therapy by a LMHP.
• Provide parent skills training to increase family's ability to effectively problem solve and
   manage behavioral issues. "Family Systems" focused interventions.
• Monitor and manage the inappropriate behaviors, presenting psychiatric and/or
   addiction symptoms.

Services typically range from 5 to 10 hours of intensive therapeutic services per week.
